Figure 2: Extended network.

In 1997, seven citizens lead by Henk Bodrogi formed with the goal of bringing their concerns to the central Kronos government. Bodrogi lacked experience in dealing with the Kronosian government and for which he turned to his lifelong friend, Carmine Osvaldo.
After the WFA published these test results about the Tiskele River in several international journals, new members joined the POK. With the increase in POK membership, Bodrogi and Osvaldo turned to Jeroen Karel.
After the protest in August 2001, Bodrogi dicided to step down as leader of the POK. And Elian Karel as his replacement. Within one month of Henk’s departure from the POK, all of the other original seven members of the group also quit and returned home to Elodis.
A large number of under-employed and under-educated young males recruited since 2001.
Elian Karel proved to be a persuasive recruiter and many small activist groups joined forces with the POK from 2002 to 2004.
Mandor Vann has been with the POK since retiring from the Kronos military in 2004.
Elian Karel recruited Silvia Marek and her group to join the POK in 2005.
Elian Karel convinced Lucio Jakab and the other members of Save Our Wildlands to join forces with the POK in 2005.
Elian Karel died in 2009, then Silvia Marek became leader.

Figure 4: POK's structure.

In early 1997, Elodis citizens convened a special town hall meeting to address their concerns about the increasing rate of illness and declining crop production the town had experienced over the last 18 months. Several persons believed it had to be a result of the gas drilling operations several kilometers upstream, where GAStech located on. When the Elodis City Council failed to take action on the citizen’s call for investigation into possible contamination of the river, seven citizens formed POK with the goal of bringing their concerns to the central Kronos government. After a series of movement, CEO Sten Sanjorge, Jr. of GAStech convicts POK as terrorists.

Figure: The timeline of events.

MC1.3Identify at least two possible explanations why the GAStech employees may be missing. What evidence do you have to support each of these explanations? Please limit your response to no more than three additional images and 200 words.

We get some trails from the articles.
In the 7.txt: Edvard Vann, a GAStech - Kronos security guard who was interrogated and released after 6 hours, gave the indication that the Protectors of Kronos were involved or at least suspected as being the perpetrators behind today's events.
In the 402.txt: ABILA, Kronos - in what described only as an operation of terrorism multiple international employees are possible GAStech to be taken in koperachtige a day slightly irruption of the hoofdkwartier of GAStech Kronos. The early reports of government of civil servants indicate Kronos on 14 people such as missing are mentioned.
In the 682.txt: Rumors abound in regards to the potentially missing GAStech executives. Some suggest that the newly vested executive group skipped the government reception to avoid the press and left to an unknown resort location to celebrate their recent windfall.
From all these trails, we get three explanations:
  1. Protectors of Kronos kidnap the employees because of recent GAStech IPO
  2. Kidnap by terrorism
  3. To avoid the press and left to an unknown resort location to celebrate their recent
